Ok, I am a SERIOUS chocolate fiend and always have been. I can remember desperate days in 5th grade breaking into my mom’s unsweetened baking chocolate and figuring out how to make my own fudge. (Add enough cream and sugar and voila!) As the years went by I graduated into a little more of a chocolate snob, but the obsession never wavered.
So when I launched my career as a holistic nutrition coach, I had a bit of a problem. I couldn’t keep stuffing chocolate bars down my face between sessions with clients and feel I truly had integrity. How could I marry my life-long love affair with chocolate with my serious obsession with health? Even the extra dark chocolate I enjoyed still had refined white sugar in it, which I had removed from my diet in every other form.
Enter a moment of inspiration and the decision to create my own!
At this same time I had started a series of workshops for women called “Urban Goddess Renewal”. My mission being to create a safe haven for women to connect as a community; to explore and empower women to take their destiny into their own hands and truly live their most powerful life by connecting to that juicy, sexy, ferocious goddess within.
I began serving the truffles at my urban goddess workshops and “eating for beauty” seminars. Soon the orders started pouring in and urban goddess chocolate was born! This is a chocolate collection for women and inspired by women. But the big secret is that men LOVE this chocolate too!
